The Coordinator of Student Leadership Programs will embrace and advance the Catholic, Franciscan mission of the University by ensuring that all specialty programs on campus, including, but not limited to, operations related to the Franciscan Peer Leaders (FPL), First-Year Experience Programs, Servant Leadership Development, and Student Success. This person supports the mission of the University by contributing to a campus environment and culture that synthesizes the spiritual, intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of our students in a holistic way. The Coordinator of Student Leadership Programs works in direct support of the Director of Franciscan Student Life and Servant Leadership and in close collaboration with all members of the Student Affairs Division. Responsibilities

Mission Advancement: a. Embrace and advance the Catholic and Franciscan mission of the University by ensuring that all Franciscan student life activities are consistent with the mission and implemented to achieve its goals. b. Serve as a member of the Franciscan Student Life & Leadership Team and, by extension, the Student Affairs Team. Mission-Centered Collaboration: a. Work with other members of the Department on campus-wide service opportunities. b. Ensure an integrative student experience that forms the student holistically. c. Assist, as needed, with Department events and programs. Special Project Coordination: a. Coordinate special projects as assigned by the Director of Franciscan Student Life and Servant Leadership on issues regarding campus engagement and Servant Leadership Development. b. Coordinate the selection, formation, and delegation of The Franciscan Experience Summer Institute College Team and provide additional support where needed. Franciscan Peer Leader Facilitator: a. Provide support in the operation and facilitation of the (FPL) Program. b. Assess programming and track student requirements while coordinating FPL formation opportunities, event planning, and campus outreach. First-Year Experience Initiatives: a. Assist in the coordination and planning of a holistic First-Year Experience Program that addresses the social, academic, and spiritual needs of new students at FranU. b. Collaborate across the campus to ensure all communication and processes are streamlined and increase student and family satisfaction. c. Provide operational support and facilitation of First-Year Experience Programs such as orientations, webinars, and resources. Develop Student Connections: a. Develop opportunities for student-to-student connections considering our mission, a relationship-based experience, and institutional goals. Facilitate Student Success: a. Facilitate programming to support student success initiatives that increase student retention and sense of belonging. Additional Duties: a. Support various programs, events, and administrative tasks aimed at fulfilling institutional goals. b. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements

Experience: At least four (4) years of experience working in student mentorship, event management, and/or leadership development with young adults. Working in a ministry setting and with faith-based events, preferred. Education: Bachelor's Degree. Skills and Abilities: Strong ability to successfully mentor student leaders, collaborate across Departments to execute success strategies, and assist in developing mentorship opportunities across the campus; Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills using PowerPoint, Canva, and other creative platforms and the ability to present information effectively to individuals and groups; Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
