The Assistant Clinic Director is responsible for supporting the Clinic Director in the oversight of performance and operations of the clinic. This role supports the Clinic Director and clinic staff, assists with staffing needs, provides resource support, and performs administrative oversight.

Responsibilities Supervision and Consultation
Participate in the weekly Clinic Director meeting
Provide 1:1 consultation with therapy staff to review productivity, caseload, and clinical documentation
Administrative
Troubleshoot issues within Valant (our EHR), ADP, Teams, Outlook, and billing
Monitor Clinic capacity and practice patterns
Support clinic staff development to ensure accurate use of Valant
Partner with CD to support administrative changes as needed
Coordinate with CD to support the hiring process, including screening, interviewing, and onboarding
Coordinate office supply orders with Clinic Director
Clinic Oversight
Assist CD with monitoring and managing clinic office schedules
Provide timely response to concerns raised by clients, clinicians, or external stakeholders
Check clinic performance data weekly and assist CD with identifying opportunities to improve clinic functioning and quality of client care
Maintain agreed upon clinical client caseload
Serve as back-up for CD when they are out of the office
Additional duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities
Master’s Degree or higher in a mental health discipline
Independently licensed with a Michigan-issued clinical license (e.g., LMSW, LPC, LP)
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and executive skill sets
Strong working knowledge of state requirements regulating mental health practice
Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail
Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures
Excellent time management with the ability to meet deadlines
Ability to function well in a high-paced and changing environment
Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications
Adept at learning and navigating Electronic Health Record systems
