Hours:
8:00 am - 5:00 pm The Material Planner I is responsible for the production planning of finished goods as well as the procurement of raw materials needed to support the business. Key objectives include achieving/improving/exceeding targeted customer service levels, managing inventory levels and targets, and managing supply and demand.
Responsibilities
Utilize MRP to create and maintain work orders for both liquids and flavor compounds.
Utilize fulfillment workbench to create and maintain dispensing jobs.
Determine optimal min/max levels and restocking points to maintain appropriate inventory.
Review inventory levels for excess, write-offs, and blend backs.
Review and maintain master data for all relevant planning aspects.
Support all sample lab projects/library requirements.
Provide support and communication for all internal teams.
Run and utilize Pegging Report to communicate planning issues to internal teams.
Participate in cross-functional departmental meetings as assigned.
Participate in process improvement projects for all aspects of planning.

Qualifications
BS with manufacturing knowledge and 2–5 years of planning experience.
At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing environments and must be knowledgeable in Oracle.
Work Environment
Office work environment with occasional trips to and from the warehouse and production areas.
Exposure to elevated room temperatures and above-average noise levels in the manufacturing environments.
