Position: Polysomnographic Technologist The Polysomnographic Technologist performs all patient preparation and equipment calibration procedures necessary for the performance of all classes of sleep studies.
Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
High School diploma and/or secondary education/training in a health-related field; with emphasis on physiology and/or psychology.
Completion of an accredited polysomnography program.
Obtain a minimum of 10 CEC's in Polysomnography per year.
One year or more prior experience as a polysomnographic technician or in a healthcare-related role.
