Intelligence Analyst
with a background in
Open Source Intelligence (OSINT)
to support an Insider Threat Program (ITP) with the Department of Homeland Security. Insider Threat programs proactively identify, prevent and mitigate internal security risks. This cybersecurity opportunity will allow you to apply your skills with user activity monitoring tools to identify insider threats to further the Mission of the Insider Threat Program. This is a
24x7 operations environment , and shift work will be required. The position is located in Springfield, VA. Responsibilities
Support the Insider Threat Program (ITP) to identify, prevent, and mitigate internal security risks. Utilize user activity monitoring products and platforms to monitor, analyze, and report suspicious activity in alignment with program requirements. Coordinate with team members to ensure timely escalation and remediation of insider threat indicators. Maintain accurate documentation of processes and findings to support security operations. Qualifications
Requirements: Demonstrated proficiency in a vast array of User Activity Monitoring Products and Platforms. Excellent customer service, analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and function as an integral part of the team. Excellent oral and written communication skills; technical and business focused, with the ability to document and describe security processes. Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment, prioritize multiple tasks, and problem solve under pressure of deadlines and resource constraints. Basic Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience
in intelligence analysis, insider threat, OSINT, or related disciplines. Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline Top Secret Clearance with ability to obtain DHS EOD SCI Must be willing and able to support a
rotating shift schedule
in a
24x7 operation . Benefits
