Senior Counterintelligence (CI) Support Specialist (CISS) – CIST
This position requires deployment to Iraq
Minimum required qualifications
Experience – At least eight years of experience with former MOS 35L, 351L, 97B, 35E, 35M, 351L/M, 97E OR civilian 1811/0132 OR 18F = SF INTEL NCO or 180A SF WO with ASOT-III OR USAF - 71S4 or 7S0X1– Special Investigator (SI), USMC – 0205 Master Analyst, 0210 Counterintelligence/Human Intelligence (CI/HUMINT) Operations Officer, 0211 CI/HUMINT Specialist, 0231 Intelligence Specialist, 0239 Intelligence Analyst, 0291 Intelligence Chief OR other equivalent DoD Joint Service or other Service specialty codes PLUS Clearance – TS/SCI PLUS Special skills or qualifications (all required)
Knowledge of Army/Joint CI procedures, doctrine, and practices Knowledge of basic CI analysis, datamining, and DoD common intelligence systems Experience in working with and through interpreters Experience with interview and solicitation techniques Experience with CI principles and methods Experience in developing screening /interviewing/debriefing plans Proficient in briefing senior leadership at the O6 level Experience with the evaluation of information requiring further investigation Working knowledge of and/or Experience in supporting the CENTCOMAOR Briefing skills to include the ability to clearly articulate complex information Experience supporting CI operations or acting in the capacity of / performing the mission of a CI agent Deployed experience in either, Afghanistan, Iraq/SWA regional issues, and CI/HUMINT, CT, political and military analysis Highly Desired qualifications and/or experience (NOT required)
Government CI credentialing course such as CI Special Agent Course (CISAC) OR other accredited DOD CI credentialing course Experience in either CI/HUMINT, CT and political/military analysis in other AORs
