Description

Position Summary: Provides exceptional guest service by delivering massages and body treatments according to Spa standards and procedures. Duties & Responsibilities: Perform professional massage modalities and body treatments adhering to spa protocols and certification standards for male and female guests. Develop treatment plans based on guest needs without providing medical advice. Ensure high customer satisfaction by understanding guest needs, promoting additional treatments, services, and retail products. Explain features and benefits of treatments and products, and answer pre- and post-treatment questions. Manage time efficiently to adhere to schedules, prepare treatment rooms, and execute treatments promptly. Monitor the schedule to minimize delays. Maintain professionalism, respect, and confidentiality. Follow proper draping and bloodborne pathogen procedures. Accurately document guest treatments using computer systems. Wear slip-resistant shoes and follow all safety policies, reporting hazards or safety issues immediately. Use PPE as required by OSHA and hotel policies. Report to work punctually and regularly as scheduled. Other Responsibilities: Assist with room setup, sanitation, inventory, and restocking. Handle guest complaints within scope or escalate appropriately. Communicate effectively with guests and staff, and report any unsafe conditions or incidents. May assume a lead role in the absence of management. Attend training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge. Report maintenance needs and safety concerns promptly. Qualifications

Diploma or certification in Massage Therapy required; must obtain applicable licenses/permits. 3-5 years of experience as a licensed Massage Therapist preferred. Must pass skills assessment if conducted. Trained and certified in basic massage techniques, capable of performing all offered treatments, including Swedish and Deep Tissue massage. Understand contraindications. Maintain valid licenses/permits and CPR certification if required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, professional demeanor, and commitment to guest satisfaction. Complete ongoing training and education as required. Basic math skills required. Proficiency with phone, computer, and hotel systems. Ability to follow detailed instructions and interpret safety and operational documents. Flexible schedule to accommodate hospitality industry cycles, including holidays and weekends. Adhere to health standards and maintain a professional appearance.
