In this role, the Neurophysiology Technician will have an Intraoperative focus onpopulations of all age groups, however primarily encompassing adult patients of ages fourteen and older. Able to set up patient for Operating Room monitoring with minimal supervision, including effectively andcooperatively with surgical and anesthesia teams. Able to perform electrode application in pharmacologicallyparalyzed patient. Scrupulous observance of sterile protocols in Operating Room.Ability to apply electrode application and use of needle electrodes forintraoperative stimulation and recording The shift for this position is11:00 am - 7:00 pm plus on-call and weekend coverage as needed. PreferredCriteria Graduation from an accredited electroneurodiagnostic technology training program (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) Required Criteria Certification in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) by the American Board of Registered Electroneurodiagnostics Technologists (ABRET) At least 3years experience performing EEG, Intraoperative or Evoked Potential Graduation from an accredited neuroelectrodiagnostic training program or equivalent experience High School Diploma or equivalent Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
