· Lead and mentor a team of quality inspectors, ensuring precise inspections are carried out throughout the finishing process—from initial prep to final touches. · Analyze finishing processes to identify quality issues, providing immediate corrective actions to ensure consistency and perfection in every product. · Collaborate with the production team to implement best practices and refine finishing techniques, driving improvements that enhance product quality and efficiency. · Supervise the documentation of inspections and quality control processes, ensuring compliance with internal and industry standards. · Champion the continuous improvement of finishing operations, suggesting new methods, materials, or equipment that can elevate the overall product quality. · Ensure all finished products are polished to the highest standards, meeting both aesthetic and functional requirements for our clients. · Lead regular quality audits, ensuring our finishing processes align with industry certifications and organizational goals Qualifications & Required Skills
· 3-5 years of experience in a quality control or supervisory role, with a focus on finishing in a manufacturing environment—preferably in cabinet or wood products. · Expertise in finishing processes, including staining, painting, coating, and polishing, with a strong understanding of how these processes impact overall product quality. · Proven leadership skills, with experience supervising and motivating teams to meet high-quality standards and continuous improvement goals. · In-depth knowledge of quality systems, inspection methods, and process controls, with hands-on experience in finishing-related quality assurance. · Familiarity with ISO standards, lean manufacturing, and quality certifications is a significant plus. · Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex issues quickly and efficiently while maintaining high standards.
