Why this job matters: This role involves developing and executing strategic sourcing strategies to generate cost savings, manage vendor demand, and promote positive purchasing behaviors across the organization. Key responsibilities include: Developing and implementing enterprise-wide sourcing strategies. Managing the end-to-end procurement process for assigned commodities, including market research, vendor identification, and procurement approach recommendations. Creating procurement documents, analyzing vendor responses, and facilitating vendor negotiations and contract signing. Coordinating legal assessments of vendor contracts and supporting vendor performance evaluations. Ensuring compliance with procurement processes and supporting legal and cross-functional teams. Maintaining vendor relationships, including presentations and diversity reports. Responding to vendor and internal inquiries related to procurement processes. Participating in departmental initiatives and projects. Performing additional duties as assigned. Qualifications for success: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience. 3-5 years of experience in strategic sourcing and vendor management. Knowledge of vendor performance metrics and complex supply chain deals. Strong influencing, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to interpret contracts, analyze data, and navigate ambiguous situations. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Preferred experience: 3+ years within a Fortune 500 or management consulting organization.
