The Stewardship & Donor Engagement Specialist role is part of the Office of University Advancement, which supports fundraising, alumni relations, operations, and communications and engagement. The position provides administrative support to Stewardship & Donor Engagement and collaborates with the Sr. Assoc. Director to manage gift recognition initiatives, special projects, recognition events, briefings, and activities related to university donors. Position

The Stewardship & Donor Engagement Specialist reports to the Sr. Assoc. Director, Stewardship & Donor Engagement, Recognition, and supports a comprehensive recognition and events program for the university donor base. The role includes researching and tracking prior cultivation, acknowledgment, and engagement activities for donors in a stewardship cycle, and assisting with strategies for effective donor stewardship through recognition, benefit fulfillment, engagement, and events. Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to Stewardship & Donor Engagement. Assist with managing principal and major gift recognition initiatives. Support production of special projects, recognition events, briefings, and donor-related activities. Research and track past engagement activities and inform stewardship strategies. Develop stewardship plans, manage timelines, monitor priorities, and track progress toward goals. Assist with writing, coordination, and execution of donor communications and materials. Collaborate with team members and high-level stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications

3-5 years of increasingly responsible administrative experience in a professional setting. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy. Excellent written and oral communication skills; proficient proofreading; strong typing skills. Working knowledge of Google Suite and Windows/Microsoft Office; familiarity with Customer Relationship Management databases (experience with Mythos, Blackbaud, or other fundraising databases preferred). Ability to handle multiple tasks, work independently, and meet tight deadlines; strong discretion with confidential information. Understanding of higher education or fundraising environments preferred; willingness to work some nights/weekends as needed. High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred. Salary range: $50,000 - $62,500.
