Job Opportunity: Clinic Nurse
Job Purpose: The purpose of a healthcare clinic nurse is to provide comprehensive, high-quality care to patients. This includes performing thorough assessments, administering treatments, and managing chronic conditions to promote patient health and well-being. The nurse collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care, while also educating patients on disease management and preventive health practices. Additionally, the nurse plays a critical role in triaging patient needs, responding to emergencies, and maintaining accurate health records to support the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the clinic. Qualifications, Education, & Experience
Nursing degree from an accredited nursing program Experience working in a clinical setting Certification in fetal monitoring and NST procedures strongly preferred, or willing to obtain within 6 months Certification in Diabetes Education (CDCES or equivalent) preferred; must be willing to obtain within 12 months if not certified Essential Responsibilities: Clinic Nurse
Patient Assessment and Care:
Perform assessments, administer medications, monitor progress, and report changes. Clinical Procedures:
Draw blood, insert IVs, EKGs, wound care, and assist providers with exams and procedures. Care Coordination:
Work with providers and specialists, arrange tests, follow-ups, and referrals. Patient Education:
Teach patients about conditions, treatments, prevention, and lifestyle management. Medication Management:
Administer medications, check for side effects, and provide safe usage instructions. Health Records Management:
Maintain accurate EHR documentation and ensure compliance with regulations. Diagnostic Testing:
Collect lab specimens, perform glucose and urine tests, conduct and document NSTs. Chronic Disease Management:
Support and educate patients with diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease. Infection Control:
Follow infection prevention protocols and educate staff/patients. Emergency Response:
Provide CPR and emergency stabilization; assist with urgent transfers. Triage:
Assess urgency, prioritize care, and provide immediate interventions. Administrative Duties:
Manage patient flow, assist with billing/registration, attend meetings, and ensure policy compliance. Essential Responsibilities: Organizational Team Member

Strong knowledge of clinical procedures, nursing best practices, and medical terminology Proficiency in medications, side effects, interactions, and EHR systems Understanding of chronic disease management and infection control Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and patient confidentiality regulations Skilled in patient education and communication with diverse populations Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling sensitive situations professionally Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows OS Ability to remain composed under stress and work flexible schedules Working Conditions
Patient Care: Ability to remain stationary for long periods, move throughout the facility, operate machinery, and communicate clearly. Work inside a healthcare facility with moderate noise and controlled environment Exposure: Potential exposure to communicable diseases and escalated patients Close contact with staff and the public in a healthcare setting Healthcare facility cold/heat controls Machines, Tools, & Supplies: Computer, phone system, copier, scanner, fax, calculator Diagnostic devices: glucose monitor, BP device, thermometer, oximeter Standard precautions required for possible exposure to blood/body fluids High-volume calls, documentation, and multitasking required Work Style:
