The Role We are seeking a motivated
Project Manager
to join our growing team. This is a field and office hybrid role designed to provide hands‑on exposure to the full lifecycle of foundation drilling projects. The right candidate will gain experience in
estimating, scheduling, cost control, design coordination, and field operations
while working directly with WCD’s project managers, engineers, and superintendents.
Responsibilities
Assist in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
Prepare submittals, RFIs, and maintain project documentation.
Track job costs and monitor schedule progress.
Support field operations: layout, data acquisition, and quality control.
Order and manage materials and equipment.
Collaborate with clients, engineers, and field personnel.
Contribute to design-build efforts for shoring and earth retention systems.
Qualifications
B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field .
2–5 years of experience in construction, foundation drilling, or geotechnical work preferred (entry‑level engineers considered).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing environments.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (AutoCAD and scheduling software a plus).
Career path interest toward
Project Manager and/or PE license .
