Pediatric CICU APP (NP or PA) sought for growing San Antonio, TX!
Responsibilities
Searching for full-time CICU APP (NP or PA) to join the growing team at Methodist Children’s Hospital in San Antonio, TX, ideally with experience in CICU or Congenital Heart, PICU with cardiac post-op will also be considered.
The Methodist Children’s Heart Institute takes a collaborative, patient-centric approach to care delivery and walks alongside patients and families on their treatment journey. The program leverages support from the Methodist Health System, the leading adult cardiac program in San Antonio, and HCA, as a member of a 4-program national pediatric congenital heart network.
About the CICU:
Dedicated PCICU: Care is directed by CICU team with 24/7 coverage.
Clinical role with focus on direct patient care. The team is comprised of attending physicians and advanced practice providers.
Universal stay unit with collaborative care amongst the MCHI team including Cardiology and Congenital Heart Surgery.
Full complexity congenital heart program and is supported by dedicated clinical and administrative leads, as well as dedicated patient navigator and social worker.
Hospital has full complement of subspecialty services, including ECMO, CRRT, TPE

Qualifications
Current APRN national specialty certification
Minimum of a master’s degree
