Our vision is to aid in the eradication of domestic violence globally and enlighten the public about its effects. ARE YOU EXCITED ABOUT THIS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE LEAD CASE MANAGER JOB? As a Full-Time Domestic Violence Lead Case Manager at the Alma Domestic Violence Foundation, you'll be at the forefront of crisis intervention and client support. You will answer our crisis line, assess the immediate needs of clients, and efficiently complete the intake process. Your role will focus on individualized care, where you'll develop, monitor, and evaluate treatment plans to ensure clients receive tailored support. Advocacy is key; you’ll assist clients in obtaining vital resources needed to achieve their case management goals. Continually monitoring and revising treatment plans will be essential to facilitate client progression. Your meticulous documentation will adhere to Federal, State, County, and ADVF guidelines, ensuring compliance and accountability. Additionally, you'll engage in program-related meetings, training, and community collaborations. Your commitment to professional ethics and boundaries will help create a safe space for clients on their healing journey. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A DOMESTIC VIOLENCE LEAD CASE MANAGER To excel as a Full-Time Domestic Violence Lead Case Manager at the Alma Domestic Violence Foundation , candidates must possess a robust skill set. A Bachelor’s degree in human services or a comparable combination of education and relevant work experience is essential, along with a minimum of 5 years in the field and at least 2 years specifically working with the domestic violence population in a shelter or agency setting. Strong knowledge of social service systems, case management techniques, and recovery processes is necessary. Effective interpersonal and communication skills are vital for collaborating with diverse individuals and other service providers. Leadership experience in training fellow Case Managers and Advocates will enhance your effectiveness in this role. Additionally, strong organizational and planning abilities, coupled with proficiency in MS Office applications, will help you prioritize multiple projects efficiently.
