Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) MindCare Solutions
is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will excel in both acute and chronic psychiatric care, delivering high quality mental health services to patients in various settings. This role involves rounding in one hospital, conducting Emergency Department (ED) and Inpatient (IP) consults, and collaborating with members of the collaborative care team. Location:

$110,000 - $130,000 Salary Per year Plus Bonus Opportunities Hours:
P/T or PRN Duties/Responsibilities: Servicing multiple facilities in the St. Louis area. Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, and treatment plans for patients. Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapy options. Prescribe and administer psychiatric medications as necessary. Monitor and adjust medication regimens to optimize effectiveness and minimize side effects. Implement therapeutic techniques to address a wide range of psychiatric conditions. Offer education and support to residents and their families regarding mental health conditions and treatment options. Promote mental health awareness and wellness among residents. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards. Ensure timely and thorough documentation of all assessments and interventions. Collaborate with the healthcare team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes. Qualifications: Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health. Current and unrestricted PMHNP license in
MO . Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). Strong knowledge of psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. Active and unrestricted DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) (We will help obtain). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Maintain clinical competency & collaboration with Psychiatrist (we will provide). Ability to travel within territory. Active and unrestricted driver’s license.
