As a
Senior Project Manager - Information and Standards
at Gainwell, you will lead Medicaid-related initiatives while serving as the Information and Standards Manager (ISM) for a key contract. This hybrid role blends traditional project management with oversight of data governance and compliance with MITA, MECT, and agency standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare IT project delivery and a deep understanding of Medicaid systems and data standards. Your role in our mission
Serve as the
Information and Standards Manager (ISM) , defining and enforcing data/information standards across all vendor-responsible areas. Lead and manage medium to large-scale healthcare IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes. Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on data governance, standards compliance, and interface documentation. Ensure adherence to MITA, MECT, and agency-defined standards; provide metrics reports as requested. Support project planning, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication. Contribute to broader project management efforts when ISM-specific tasks are not active. What we're looking for
10+ years
of experience in system design, development, and maintenance with increasing responsibility. 6+ years
of experience managing complex projects through the full lifecycle. 3+ years
of Medicaid or Medicare experience. Strong understanding of data governance and healthcare IT compliance frameworks (MITA, MECT). PMP certification or equivalent preferred. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. What you should expect in this role
Remote position (US only) Opportunities to travel through your work (0-10%) Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation The deadline to submit applications for this posting is 12/30/2025 The pay range for this position is $64,900.00 - $92,700.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
