Overview
Hitachi Energy is seeking candidates for the Power2 Operations Development Program, a rotational development program ideal for recent graduates or those transitioning from military service. Participants gain hands-on experience in Materials, Operational Engineering, and Supervision across US-based factories in Jefferson City, MO; Alamo, TN; South Boston, VA; Bland, VA; and Crystal Springs, MS. You will gain skills to support production of Power Transformers, Distribution Transformers, and Transformer Components. As a full-time member of North American Operations, you will receive continuous career support, development, and coaching throughout the program. This role offers opportunities to broaden business acumen and growth within the organization. Your Responsibilities
Learn basics of Operations and Hitachi Energy\'s Integrated Transformer Management (ITM) processes used in transformer manufacturing Take ownership of your rotational assignment Assignments will include Materials Management with experience in purchasing and/or planning functions Operational Engineering experience in manufacturing and/or quality engineering Supervision experience to manage day-to-day production activities Develop and apply ITM tools, processes, and skills to drive operational performance improvements Collaborate with other business functions to contribute to exceeding customer expectations Learn about relevant business processes and products and how they apply to meet customer objectives Support leadership and diversity initiatives to foster an inclusive, engaged workplace Contribute to ensuring critical infrastructure remains operational in factories, hospitals, schools, and homes Support Hitachi Energy\'s mission to deliver a stronger, smarter, greener grid Work in alignment with Hitachi Energy\'s safety and integrity values, taking responsibility for your actions and caring for colleagues and the business Your Background
Bachelor\'s degree in Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, or Operational Engineering from an accredited university, with internship and/or co-op experience Work authorization to work in the United States Interest in the energy and/or manufacturing sectors Self-starter who seeks knowledge beyond the classroom Willing to travel and relocate during rotational assignments (relocation assistance provided) Willingness to work in both office and factory environments Equal Employment Opportunity
