Overview
Our client is a mission-driven Native Tribal health organization serving Alaska Native communities across the state. They are seeking a proactive Project Coordinator to oversee multiple complex projects, ensuring they are completed on time, with the highest accuracy and quality.
Responsibilities Your day-to-day: In this role, you’ll oversee multiple projects from start to finish, ensuring quality standards are met and deliverables are completed at every phase of the project life cycle. This role is all about coordination and communication — keeping timelines, teams, and tasks aligned so projects run smoothly and successfully.
You’ll work closely with staff, management, and vendors to make sure everyone is in sync — managing schedules, deliverables, and communications along the way. From planning and design to implementation, you’ll play a key role in ensuring complex projects are completed efficiently and stakeholders are kept informed every step of the way.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in project management or related field
Progressively responsible professional experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for college education
One year of professional experience managing minor projects using project management skills. A combination of relevant education and/or training may be substituted for experience
Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Word, and Visio
Strong project management skills and knowledge of techniques and methodologies
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds
