AdventHealth Orlando is seeking a full-time nurse with a strong passion for whole-person health care. Our Transplant PCU/IMU is a fast-paced, intermediate surgical 40-bed unit specializing in the care of Kidney, Liver, and Pancreas transplant patients. Unit Highlights: The unit cares for the transplant population during their immediate post-op period as well as during readmission to the hospital for various reasons, including illness or treatment of rejection. The patient population also includes patients recovering from urological and general procedures/surgeries. The community you'll be caring for: Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368-bed AdventHealth Orlando, serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean, and South America. AdventHealth Orlando houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and largest cardiac catheterization labs in the country. The value you'll bring to the team: The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is a registered professional nurse who supports the Nurse Manager in overall operations of their assigned unit. The ideal candidate demonstrates critical thinking skills, creativity, and knowledge to manage resources to achieve quality performance, positive employee relations, and compliance with hospital guidelines.
