Delta Training Analytics team is seeking highly motivated and data-curious Co-Op students who are excited to leverage data to improve the Pilot Training Experience. The Co-op will work closely with teams responsible for the development, design, and delivery of training for over 16,000 pilots. Key responsibilities include:
Learner Insights & Advisory:
Deepen understanding of training experiences and champion learner needs through research and feedback analysis. Monitor pilot performance against feedback to identify training gaps. Learner Analytics:
Conduct ad hoc analyses to support curriculum updates and new training programs. Develop reports and dashboards to measure training effectiveness. Enhance topic modeling accuracy and identify emerging themes. Learner Experience Strategy & Integration:
Support long-term strategies such as journey mapping, expanding listening posts, standardizing surveys, and implementing new data collection methods. The selected candidate must commit to the following Co-op rotations: Summer 2026 Spring 2027 Fall 2027 Minimum qualifications include: Enrolled full-time in a bachelor’s program in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Economics, or related field. Interest or experience in data analysis and coding, preferably SQL. Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills. Ability to work well in teams. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access). Minimum age of 18 and authorization to work in the U.S. Preferred qualifications include experience with statistical analysis, modeling, and coding software such as SQL, SAS, Python, R, or VBA.
