Hiring a dynamic leader with exceptional organizational and people skills for the vital Assistant Director role. Experience in preschool, OCFS regulated daycare, inclusion setting and administrative role preferred.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for all program operations and ensure that they support the philosophy of the organization.
Recruit, orient, supervise, train, and develop the team. Ensure a positive team atmosphere.
Develop and regularly monitor systems to ensure all quality assurance practices; regulatory agency requirements; timely and comprehensive child and family intake; meeting concerns and needs of participating families.
Skills:
The candidate must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, customer-focused attitude, ability to multitask and have a proven track record managing a childcare center or preschool, knowledge of Microsoft Office and excellent computer skills, and experience managing staff. The ideal candidate also has knowledge of preschool and childcare licensing regulations.
