The
Logistics & Supply Chain Manager
is responsible for optimizing inventory management, enhancing store operations, and fostering team development. This role involves collaborating with retail stores to forecast demand, managing stock levels, and monitoring operation KPIs. The Supply Chain Manager will supervise a Supply Chain Coordinator and manage all demand planning activities. Collaboration with retail, merchandising, finance, and EMEA teams is essential for success. The position is based in Brussels.
Job responsibilities Inventory Management
Partner with retail stores to proactively identify commercial opportunities and accurately anticipate product demand. Ensure on-time fulfillment of critical orders and new product launches.
Conduct weekly review on stock coverage and collaborate with the EMEA Supply Chain team to secure stock support for the stores.
Develop and implement efficient and cost-effective delivery schedules to ensure timely and sufficient replenishment to stores while maintaining cost control.
Manage relationships with external delivery partners, regularly reviewing their performance against agreed service levels and identifying areas for improvement.
Store Operations
Proactively KPIs related to store operations, such as stock discrepancies and order fulfilment. Partner with Stock Controllers and store leadership to develop and implement action plans when operation targets are not achieved.
Track KPIs related to store operations such as stock discrepancy, order fulfilment, and more. Partner with Stock Controllers and store management to initiate action plan when targets are not achieved.
Cultivate a vibrant community of Stock Controllers in the region. Support their career developments, offer coaching, and enable best practices sharing.
Team Development
Coach and lead a high-performing Supply Chain Coordinator, fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and professionalism.
Define the team structure, roles, and responsibilities in alignment with business priorities, ensuring clear ownership, agility and empowerment.
Establish individual and team goals and objectives; as well as growth plans and development paths to develop internal talent and elevate the team performance.
Regularly assess team performance and engagement through structured feedback, goal setting, and development reviews.
Product Quality & Care
Maintain oversight of shop-soiled and defective item procedures ensuring consistent standards are upheld across all stores and ensure the teams receive relevant training.
Guide Care Service (repair) employees within the stores on repair procedures and after-care client interactions, upholding the brand's reputation for enduring quality.
Profile Education / Special Skills
Substantial previous Supply Chain experience in a similar role, ideally within a multi-country environment.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skill level.
Ability to understand and leverage product and financial reports to drive business.
Takes initiative and drives for results.
Business acumen and commercial mindset.
Be the objective voice of the client, rather than sharing personal views.
