LocationNew York, United States# Business & Finance Teacher (Part Time, In-Person) at Concorde EducationLocationNew York, United StatesSalary$45 - $75 /hourJob TypeContractDate PostedSeptember 16th, 2025Apply Now**General Responsibilities:** Under the supervision of the Director of Educational Development, plans and facilitates an extracurricular course centered around business and finance for middle and high school students.**Major Duties:*** Meets regularly with the Director of Educational Development* Plans and facilitates instructional sessions* Develop a curriculum that covers a variety of business and finance topics including but not limited to the stock market, business current events, personal finance, and investments* Models appropriate academic and social behaviors* Performs other duties as assigned**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:*** Ability to work with students of diverse ethnic backgrounds, academic profiles, and skill levels.* Possess good interpersonal and organizational skills.* Must demonstrate responsibility, a desire to help others, discretion, and flexibility.* Knowledge of basic academic content and skills.* Application of such knowledge and tools to help students access material.* Ability to collect and analyze data to drive future instruction.* Ability to work independently applying critical thinking skills and problem solving to various situations.**Qualifications:** Must possess a bachelor's degree and have teaching and/or tutoring experience, must have previously taught similar material to middle or high school aged students. #J-18808-Ljbffr
