Overview
The Department of Radiology at UHCMC/Case Western Reserve University is seeking a highly motivated fellowship-trained, board-certified or board-eligible Vascular and Interventional Radiologist to join a state-of-the-art subspecialty VIR section. The department is committed to excellence in image-based clinical care. The selected candidate will contribute to teaching future radiologists and pursue a research career with opportunities to collaborate across basic and translational research disciplines. Responsibilities
Provide imaging-based clinical care as part of a subspecialty Vascular and Interventional Radiology (VIR) team. Engage in teaching and mentorship of radiology trainees and fellows. Pursue, develop, and collaborate on research projects across basic and translational disciplines. Collaborate with multiple disciplines within the health system to advance patient care and outcomes. Qualifications
Fellowship-trained in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Board-certified or board-eligible in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Demonstrated commitment to teaching and a research-oriented career. About the Department
The Department of Radiology performs over 1 million exams per year and is staffed by over 80 clinical faculty members. Our health care network is anchored by University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center (UHCMC) in Cleveland's University Circle, a 947-bed academic medical center and tertiary-care hospital. UHCMC has been consistently ranked by US News & World Report among America\'s best hospitals across 12 medical and surgical specialties. The radiology department supports three centers of excellence: Seidman Cancer Center, MacDonald Women\'s Hospital, and Rainbow Babies & Children\'s Hospital, and provides clinical services for 10 regional hospitals and over 25 university-associated outpatient clinics.
