A modern small animal practice is seeking an experienced Urgent Care Veterinarian to join its dedicated medical team. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who thrives in a fast‑paced, problem‑solving environment and enjoys providing high‑quality, after‑hours care for dogs and cats with non‑life‑threatening conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver prompt, compassionate care to patients with urgent medical needs
Diagnose and treat common acute conditions such as minor injuries, infections, or digestive issues
Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners to guide them through treatment options
Work collaboratively with a skilled clinical support team to ensure efficient and thorough case management
Maintain accurate, timely medical records and uphold the highest standards of patient care
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution (or equivalent international qualification)
Active or eligible veterinary license in the relevant state
Excellent clinical judgment and ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced setting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with clients and team members
