This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.As a New Glenn console operator Training Engineer, you will be part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts responsible for leading, developing and training launch and ground operations crews to conduct New Glenn launch vehicle processing, ground operations, and launch operations safely and effectively.You will directly contribute to the control room team prior to and during test and launch campaigns through training development, evaluations, and critical task coordination efforts. The position operates primarily from our Orbital Launch Site at Launch Complex 36 in Cape Canaveral, FL.

This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight.Passion for our mission and vision is required!**Qualifications:*** BS degree in engineering, or equivalent* 5+ years of experience in defining, developing, validating, and executing technical training for engineers working in a safety critical operational environment* Experience planning, coordinating, and executing training simulation events for launch crews or similar high cadence operational crews to include anomaly or fault injection and response* Understanding of training modalities and tools to include OJT, evaluations, computer based, simulation focused, and instructor led training* Engineering and/or operational experience with complex aerospace systems such as hydraulics, avionics, propulsion, cryogenics, life support systems, or high-pressure pneumatics* Self-starter and critical thinker with strong coordination and problem-solving skills and ability to triage priorities across multiple ongoing tasks* Ability to earn trust, maintain positive/professional relationships, and contribute to an inclusive culture working effectively across multiple groups on a multi-disciplinary team* Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.* Pass a background check to acquire/maintain a Cape Canaveral SFS, FL, access badge**Desired:*** Experience in Learning Management Systems (LMS)* Experience with Qualtero Fox Training Management System* 5+ years of experience working with complex engineering systems (i.e., launch vehicles, spacecraft, aircraft, naval platforms, etc.)* Experience in space or military console operations or other similar high cadence control room environment**Culture Statement****Export Control Regulations**Applicants for employment at Blue Origin must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.**Background Check*** Required for all positions: Blue’s Standard Background Check* Required for Certain Job Profiles:
