Overview Brewer Veterinary Clinic

is looking to add a compassionate and skilled Veterinarian to our team. At our Rarebreed clinic, you can help reimagine the veterinary experience in your community. Our positive environment means you’ll be supported by a compassionate team in our AAHA-accredited, high-volume, small animal practice. As part of our team, you’ll work with the latest technology, gain access to state-of-the-art training facilities, and collaborate with a positive team to deliver the highest quality of care to the pet patients we all love. Brewer Veterinary Clinic is an AAHA-accredited, high-volume, small animal practice. We have seven doctors on staff, and we treat all small animals. Our dedicated staff consists of a team of receptionists, veterinary assistants, licensed veterinary technicians, and veterinarians. We all work together to offer compassionate and superior care to our clients and their companions. We have a newly renovated state of the art facility, on-site digital radiography, ultrasound, IDEXX testing equipment, as well as a well-stocked surgical suite and pharmacy. We support continuing education and clinic development in our associate’s areas of interest. We participate in global service projects and trips.

Location: Brewer, ME

Compensation $100,000 - $120,000 base salary. Get up to a $40,000 incentive bonus. Eligible for relocation bonus.

What you’ll do

Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries of pets (primarily dogs and cats), and treat surgically or medically

Collaborate within our veterinary ecosystem, and communicate with referring veterinarians

Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training to stay at the top of your field

Administer core vaccinations and counsel clients in well-pet care

Perform dentals as needed

Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree

2+ years of experience practicing veterinary medicine in a Veterinary Hospital setting is preferred

Internship training is also preferred but not required

Ability to attain ME Veterinary License
