JR100200**Location:**AlmaVia of Camarillo12500 N Ponderosa Drive**Our Medication Aide/Med Tech:*** Prepares and passes medication for residents as ordered by a physician, reporting any medication errors, side effects or problems to supervisor or physician.* Documents administration or refusal of medication in required format and style.* Maintains documentation and communication log in accordance with required procedures, using electronic system when appropriate.* Reorders meds as needed, following appropriate protocols.* Following medication policies and procedures is responsible for the delivery, ordering, re-ordering, storage, documentation and destruction of medications.* Insures that medication is available when needed through on time refills. Orders labs as necessary.* Performs other duties as assigned.**What you need to succeed:*** High school diploma or equivalent.* Working experience with computerized Point of Care and other systems.* 6 months or more in long term care, home care or related field preferred.* Successful completion of Med Tech Training program and Medication Aide/Medication Tech certification in state, as required.* Minimum of six months experience in long term care, home care, or a related field.* Ability to speak, read, write and understand English language.* Current CPR/First Aid certification.* Successful completion of background check, drug screen, and other pre-employment testing as required by state (may include fingerprinting and/or pre-employment physical). #J-18808-Ljbffr
