Responsibilities
Operate, maintain, repair and diagnose high pressure steam boilers, and critical mechanical/plumbing systems and equipment relating to building infrastructure.
Complete preventive maintenance per policies and/or procedures following the CMMS timeline to ensure regulatory compliance.
Demonstrate effective communication, assertiveness, and versatility in responding to customer needs.
Plan, organize, and prioritize work tasks.
May be required to work with others in planning and scheduling for modifications and repairs to systems with minimal disruption to the mission of the organization while meeting fiscal constraints.
Be alert to all aspects of equipment when responding to customer requests and communicate concerns to appropriate personnel.
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and human relations skills to interact with staff, visitors, and patients.
Serve as a resource and mentor to others.
Qualifications
One to three years electrical and/or plumbing maintenance experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minnesota Boiler License-Class 2B required within 18 months.

Compensation Detail This position has a predetermined starting rate of $23.43 per hour based upon union contract.
