The Sr. Supply Chain Manager implements a strategy to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs. The Sr. Supply Chain Manager coordinates the flow of goods and information from origin to consumption, focusing on efficiency, cost, and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include managing planning, procurement, inventory, and distribution, as well as resolving bottlenecks and monitoring suppliers. Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Procurement

Manages procurement of raw materials and components per supplier agreements and chemical production site arrangements, respecting stock policy and minimizing waste, in cooperation with Group Purchasing. Consults direct and/or functional hierarchy for high-impact stock/service/destruction issues. Planning

Build the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to plan production activities, ensuring optimal customer service within stock policy and industrial constraints. Provides visibility to production sectors to anticipate organizational changes needed to meet demand. Leads regular MPS meetings and follows up on related topics. Animate monthly IBP (Integrated Business Planning) meeting. Interfaces with central Supply Chain functions to optimize processes (forecasting, net requirements, MPS, technical data, packaging). Consults direct and/or functional hierarchy for high-impact stock/service/destruction issues. Scheduling

Ensures proper scheduling of production operations, with daily operational monitoring to anticipate and respond to disruptions (supply/quality/capacity). Maintains daily flow rituals with all departments. Warehousing

Supervises the warehouse team and ensures optimal physical flow operations and proper maintenance of related facilities. Interfaces with HSE team for safety and authorizations. Safety

Ensures the safety of their department by enforcing safety rules, identifying any risks to personnel, participating in safety inspections, proposing corrective actions when necessary, and ensuring their proper implementation. Prioritizes safety in daily operations on site. Responsible for creating and updating the risk assessment document for their area and promoting improvements in safety and working conditions. HSE coordinator validation required for rule changes. Regulatory Compliance and Quality

Ensure operations comply with GMP and procedures. Defines and implements best practices, self-inspections, required GMP training for staff, and investigates and implements corrective actions after QA validation. In case of deviations actions must be validated by Quality Assurance. Team Management

Leads, coordinates, and motivates their teams under optimal safety conditions, ensuring mission and objective achievement. Ensures service efficiency through: close supervision, targeted training, upward and downward communication, development and performance goals, and monitoring and evaluation. Supports staff development and ensures alignment between skills and sector needs, including recruitment and daily management. Inform and, if necessary, consult hierarchy; work closely with site HR. Operational Excellence / Continuous Improvement

Identifies short- and medium-term Supply Chain challenges, proposes and implements solutions to optimize resources, increasing efficiency and productivity while minimizing costs. Implements field rituals and visuals to support continuous improvement. Hierarchy validation required for budget-impacting projects. Activity Management

Manages activity through indicators, budget preparation and monitoring for operations and investments of supervised teams. Interfaces with industrial cost control to forecast, explain, and improve economic performance. Inform hierarchy; collaborate with Cost Control for budget preparation and financial performance analysis. Performs other duties as assigned by management. BA/BS in Business or related field Master Degree preferred 10+ years of experience in planning and inventory management in an industrial environment (pharmaceutical or consumer packaged goods) CPM, APICS Certification preferred Strong team management experience Proficiency in ERP systems and MRP systems Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk Ability to move around a business or warehouse to oversee operations Travel to other sites may include international in addition to domestic Cognitive Requirements

6 direct reports (Materials and Warehouse) and 19 indirect reports (Warehouse) Reports dotted line to the Director Global Supply Chain Daily interaction with all site teams in procurement, planning, ERP, and inventory issues Works closely with marketing, customer service, and corporate procurement Works with external vendors Backup: direct report (N-1) depending on operational tasks, coordinated with Site Director Monetary Responsibility
