Under general supervision, and with medical consultation and direction, performs physical and psycho-social assessments, establishes medical diagnoses, orders and evaluates diagnostic tests, manages follow-up care, and performs other related work as required. Responsibilities include performing physical examinations, developing treatment plans, ordering and interpreting lab tests and results, along with providing preventative healthcare and counseling. REQUIRED: 1. A college degree as a Nurse Practitioner from a recognized university, affiliated with a medical school. 2. Please refer to the Medical Staff Guidelines for certifications and credentialing applicable to this position. PREFERRED: 1. Two to five years of experience in a medical practice setting where diagnosis, treatment, and patient education were the main focus of the role.
