6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Pay Range:
$30.34 – $42.47/hr (Based on years of experience)
Overview
We are seeking a
Nuclear Medicine Technologist
to join a dynamic radiology team in a high-acuity acute care setting. This role performs a range of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures utilizing ionizing radiation. You will work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment equipped with advanced medical technologies and support from experienced healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with ALARA standards
Administer radiopharmaceuticals and perform imaging studies
Ensure proper use, calibration, and maintenance of imaging equipment
Monitor patient conditions and reactions to medications, promptly reporting adverse events
Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, films, and results
Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care delivery
Qualifications
Registered with either the ARRT (Nuclear) or NMTCB – Required
Florida State Radiologic Technologist License – Required
Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine – Required
BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications must be obtained within 30 days of employment
