Overview

This position is responsible for MRI technologist duties at PSPH. Responsibilities include performing MRI procedures (setting up, scanning and filming). The position also is responsible for communication with radiologists and other physicians, patients and their families, and other persons. Additional responsibilities include performing contrast injections, performing quality control and reporting tasks, maintaining day-to-day schedules, and assisting radiologist. Operates and maintains MR, and auxiliary equipment. On call requirements. Why Providence

Coursework/Training: 2 years community college/vocational training in an accredited Radiological technologist program. Or Equivalent of 2 years community college/vocational training in an accredited Radiological technologist program. Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Within 1 year of hire National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging Or Within 1 year of hire National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists Preferred Qualifications

2 years Sub-specialty MRI, Scanning, or Imaging experience. About Providence
