Job Title: Advanced Clinical Pharmacist – Haematology, Oncology, Palliative Care & Technical Services Location: Norfolk Salary: Band 8A Hours: Full-time – 37.5 hours per week Contract Type: Permanent We are currently seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Advanced Clinical Pharmacist to join our dedicated Cancer Services team This is an exciting Band 8A opportunity for a motivated pharmacy professional to work across Haematology, Oncology, Palliative Care, and Technical Services. You’ll play a key clinical and leadership role in delivering high-quality, patient-focused pharmacy services. Key Responsibilities: Deliver a specialist clinical pharmacy service to oncology and haematology inpatients, the Chemo Day Unit, and Day Treatment Unit.Validate and screen chemotherapy prescriptions and support aseptic production services.Provide expert pharmaceutical care to palliative care patients and support safe prescribing practices.Act as an authorised pharmacist in Pharmacy Technical Services ensuring adherence to GMP.Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and support service development and audits.Train, supervise, and appraise junior pharmacists and trainees.Contribute to clinical guideline development and input into the Electronic Patient Records system.

Requirements: Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).Significant post-registration clinical pharmacy experience, ideally within oncology, haematology, or palliative care.Independent prescribing qualification (or working towards it).Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and aseptic services.Proven leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
