Inpatient Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Birmingham, Alabama
Full-time | Monday–Friday | Gastroenterology To support our continued growth, we are seeking a full-time nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our inpatient gastroenterology team at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham. This is a Monday through Friday position with no weekends or call, offering a balanced schedule in a supportive, collaborative environment. Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule Inpatient-focused position Job Duties:
Manage inpatient consults and follow-ups Evaluate and coordinate care for acute and chronic GI conditions Order and interpret lab work and imaging Write and refill prescriptions appropriate for diagnosis Collaborate closely with GI physicians and hospital staff Participate in GI-focused patient care initiatives and protocols Candidate Requirements:
