Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference. Job Summary Performs a variety of radiographic procedures applying ionizing radiation. Essential Functions All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's values: Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference. Demonstrates competency in performing ERCPs, video fluoroscopies, OR procedures, lumbar punctures, bronchoscopies, enterocolitis, sialograms, rhizotomy, facet blocks, endoscopy-tube placements or injections, T-tube cholangiograms, major trauma/trauma bay, neonatal ICU, pacing lab, and other critical care procedures. Troubleshoots equipment issues effectively. Assesses patient condition and cooperation, notifying nurses and documenting reactions. Ensures image quality and proper documentation before sending to radiologist. Responds to emergency codes appropriately. Keeps up-to-date with organizational updates. Promotes patient safety and care, ensuring smooth workflow and proper use of equipment. Maintains good relationships with staff, physicians, and supervisors. Communicates delays to patients and families. Completes billing and documentation accurately, including procedure charges and fluoro time. Operates PACS system correctly and verifies studies before archiving. Achieves patient satisfaction scores as per Prisma Health standards, adhering to behavior expectations set by patient experience teams. Performs additional duties as assigned. Supervisory/Management Responsibilities This is a non-management role reporting to a supervisor, manager, or director. Minimum Requirements Completion of an accredited radiology certification program. No prior experience required. In Lieu Of Current staff as of 11/08/2020 are grandfathered from the minimum requirements, pending regulatory compliance.
