AdventHealth Bolingbrook The role you’ll contribute: The Security team is responsible for maintaining a secure environment at the front line of service. To ensure that patients, employees, visitors, and guests are served and protected, and that all contents and assets of AdventHealth are secured. The role involves anticipating and addressing potentially harmful, dangerous, or unsafe situations or conditions. The value you’ll bring to the team: Assists with setting up, scrubbing into, monitoring, and assisting physicians with cases in the cardiac Cath/IR lab, including coronary angiography, interventions, EP cases, vascular cases, and interventional radiology procedures. Proficient in preparation, assessment, scrubbing, documentation, and monitoring, adhering to departmental policies and professional standards. Committed to outstanding customer service and respectful relationships. Duties and Responsibilities: Facilitates room turnover and setup for all cases in the cath lab using sterile technique. Provides support to physicians during cases. Monitors cases appropriately using EMR and hemodynamic systems. Maintains supplies and communicates needs to lead RT or materials management. Captures and enters charges for cases. Reconciles billing for cases. Qualifications: Graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Required) 1 year of experience (Preferred) Basic EKG interpretation Knowledge of electrophysiology diagnostic procedures BCLS (Required) ACLS (Required) ARRT certification (Required) IEMA certification (Required) RCIS (Preferred) RCES (Preferred) This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all relevant anti-discrimination laws.
