Project Engineer – Hydraulics & Hydrology Focus

to join a dynamic group of professionals working on impactful projects in commercial, healthcare, education, distribution, mixed-use, and more. If you're ready to lead, mentor, and leave your mark—this one's for you. What You’ll Do

Tackle advanced hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for stormwater, flood control, and master planning projects

Design and analyze flood conveyance systems, detention facilities, and drainage infrastructure

Lead multiple projects from start to finish—on time and on budget

Prepare technical reports, draft proposals, progress updates, and project invoices

Interface with clients and help drive business development through strong relationship-building

Coach and mentor junior engineers—help shape the next generation of water resource professionals

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across various office locations

Present at technical meetings and contribute to thought leadership through articles and publications

What You Bring

Bachelor’s in Civil or Environmental Engineering

PE license (required)

Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM)

6+ years of civil/site design experience focused on water resources

Expertise in stormwater management, drainage design, H&H modeling, and SWPPP

Strong communication skills—able to confidently interact with clients, agencies, and internal teams

AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency

Proven project management experience, from concept through construction

A collaborative spirit with the ability to lead, mentor, and inspire

Knowledge of local land use regulations and permitting processes

Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license for field visits and client meetings
