Facility Services Director
who will oversee the Maintenance, Construction/Renovation, Environmental Services, Security, Grounds, and Technology divisions of our beautiful and premier senior living community.
What you’ll be doing: The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to develop, implement and enforce policies & procedures in regards to all Facilities Services & Maintenance needs as well as oversee compliance with local, state, & federal agency fire life safety codes. In this role, the Facility Services Director will oversee managing Department Operating Budget and Capital Expense Budget, purchasing & inventory and directs quality assurance measures and procedures for the department. Responsible for Overseeing Campus Emergency Preparedness Manual, and to routinely engage and communicate with residents regarding campus updates. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills will be essential for this role to enable success with staffing needs as well as coaching, training, and staff supervision.
Pay Range:
$130,000 - $150,000 DOE

About you:
Associate degree in business administration, construction or a related field. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Five (5) years’ experience in general and preventative maintenance including but not limited to; general and specific building repair and eminence HVAC/mechanical, electrical, plumbing, lock-smithing, utility systems and skills in the operation, repair and maintenance of shop equipment and tools, swimming pool care and maintenance.
Five (5) to ten (10) years’ facility services leadership experience in a hospitality-focused environment, including department budgeting, performance management, discipline and management of staff. Customer service, team building and leadership experience is preferred.
Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs. Knowledge of telephone and TV systems and maintenance.
Knowledge of regulatory codes and standards. Knowledge of chemicals used by department and the proper use of SDS, PPE, etc.
Knowledge of fire prevention, fire suppression and fire alarm systems.
Ability to read and understand specifications, plans and drawing. Possess good oral and written communication skills. Ability to fill out forms, keep accurate records and submit reports.
