LPN Responsibilities Include:
Providing essential hands-on care such as taking vitals, administering medications, and recording health histories
Assisting residents with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and eating
Communicating with residents, families, and the care team about changes in health or behavior
Monitoring residents’ health status and reporting needs to nursing leadership or providers
Educating residents and families on treatments, medications, and care plans
Applying and changing bandages to support healing
Aiding residents with mobility and transfers
Maintaining accurate, confidential medical records
