Responsibilities
Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
Develop and implement effective treatment programs.
Provide counseling to patients and patients\' families about results of testing and recommended treatment options.
Establish patient understanding, expectations, and goals for treatment.
Create accurate documentation and reporting for all patient visits.
Maintain communication with staff and outside agencies per state guidelines.
Work collaboratively with professionals from many other disciplines.
Required Skills/Abilities
Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance plans
Familiarity with a variety of speech and cognitive disorders
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Basic computer literacy
Ability to comply with all regulatory standards
Education and Experience
Masters degree in speech language pathology or related field
Active Montana SLP license
1-3 years speech language pathology experience
ASHA certification preferred
BLS certification
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Additional Job Information
This is a non-exempt, hourly position and employees are paid on a bi-weekly basis
Typical Shift: Monday - Friday 8AM to 5PM
On Site: 202 Prospect Dr, Glendive MT 59330
Travel: Minimal - This position will provide community outreach at the public schools in Glendive
