Pay: $2,034/week (plus $2,350 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,050 after three contracts)
Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate Postpartum / Mom-Baby Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Denver, CO. The RN will provide exceptional care and support to mothers and their newborns during the postpartum period, ensuring safe recovery and promoting positive family experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns during the immediate postpartum period.
Monitor maternal vital signs, uterine recovery, and newborn health status.
Support and educate new mothers on breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum recovery.
Administer prescribed medications, pain management interventions, and treatments as required.
Collaborate with physicians, lactation consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
Accurately document assessments, interventions, and progress in compliance with facility protocols.
Offer emotional support and guidance to families adjusting to life with a newborn.
Qualifications
Active RN license in Colorado or a compact state.
Minimum of 2 years of recent postpartum or mom-baby nursing experience (travel experience preferred).
Current BLS and NRP certifications (additional facility-required certifications as applicable).
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and recent tuberculosis test.
Strong clinical skills in postpartum and newborn assessment, education, and support.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills.
