Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is Houston's premier multispecialty group practice, founded in 1949 by Dr. Mavis Kelsey in Houston's famous Texas Medical Center. More than 500 physicians and allied health professionals practice at 30 locations and an accredited Sleep Center in the Greater Houston area.
Kelsey-Seybold's Pain Management Center is actively recruiting a Physician Assistant to assist the clinic with the treatment of patients who suffer from pain. This is a position in a clinical setting, which would require one to be available between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Responsibilities
Assisting the pain management physicians in the clinic to achieve optimal efficiency in the practice of pain management. Holding clinic and seeing patients for follow-up visits, assisting these patients with the medical management of their disease. Managing narcotics, narcotic agreements, opiate management administrative work, and pre and post-operative procedural care Working with primary care practitioners and other specialties in the management of patients who suffer from pain, providing a team approach that facilitates and enhances the quality of care for such patients. Qualifications
Graduate from an Accredited School of Physician Assistant Studies. Licensed in the State of Texas. Board Certified and/or Board Eligible. Benefits and Compensation
