Locums Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We areseeking a Locums Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant(PA) to provide coverage in Torrington, CT, with availability particularly onMondays and Fridays. This is a dynamic position requiring flexibility, asproviders will split their day between two sites, and must be amenable tolast-minute scheduling changes. Ideal candidates will be local to the area andable to travel at least 45 minutes as needed . KeyResponsibilities: Provide walk-in urgent care forpatients of all ages Diagnose and treat common,non-life-threatening injuries and illnesses Conduct physical exams, interpretdiagnostic tests, and prescribe treatment Perform procedures such as suturing,splinting, and I&Ds Maintain accurate and timelydocumentation in the EMR Travel between two nearby cliniclocations as needed throughout the daytorringto Requirements: Licensed Nurse Practitioner orPhysician Assistant in the state of Connecticut Ability to see patients of all ages(pediatrics through geriatrics) Must be willing to travel at least45 minutes for shift coverage Must be flexible with siteassignments and schedule changes Preference given to local providers Nestledin the foothills of the Berkshires, Torrington blends the charm of a small townwith access to great outdoor recreation and cultural activities.
