Overview
Pediatric Emergency Medicine - Boardman, Ohio The selected candidate will provide specialized family centered care for acutely ill/injured infants, children and teens in the Beeghly Emergency Department. The Emergency Department (ED) sees more than 38,000 visits annually. The Beeghly campus ED features a new 35,000 square foot facility with 23 treatment rooms and collaborates with the Akron campus, a designated level 1 trauma center. Akron Children’s Hospital is the only pediatric hospital in northeast Ohio with its own helicopter and pediatric transport team. This position is a 501(c)(3) site which qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness through the Federal government.

Requirements include MD or DO degree, board eligibility/certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and the ability to obtain an active medical license in the state of Ohio.
