The Production Supervisor (Injection Molding Cases- IMC) is responsible for executing the production schedules and processes for manufacturing to ensure that effective and efficient production flow is maintained. This position ensures that employee performance is adhered to within the manufacturing department and that the Company\'s safety, quality, cost and delivery objectives are being met. The Production Supervisor implements continuous improvement activities in their areas and directly supervises Production Department Leads with emphasis on continuous improvement of processes and training. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
2 year Associates Degree in business management or technical degree 2 + years experience in a manufacturing environment Demonstrated experience leading / directing others Must have good oral and written communication skills Ability to influence and motivate employees Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work well in a team environment Ability to prioritize tasks Ability to set expectations, hold employees accountable and demonstrate performance management Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including MS Word, Excel, and Power Point Proficient in developing charts and graphs from data sets in Excel Experience in Root Cause Analysis Problem Solving Must possess an awareness and understanding of performance against budget Champions a customer focus and awareness of customer needs Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the company Must maintain a “Hands-on” style of working, willing and capable of taking a lead role in technical problem-solving efforts Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ISO9001:2015 Familiarity with SAP Experience working in a Lean Manufacturing environment Additional Information

Must be able to work evenings and weekends, with or without advanced notice Must be able to operate in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously Ensures that staff is contributing at maximum potential through rigorous hiring practices and an emphasis on training and development initiatives, including coaching and counseling direct reports in their performance and professional development, with final authority for approving pay increases, hiring decisions and disciplinary actions Emphasizes ethical leadership and decision-making to protect Pelican’s brand and reputation Establishes challenging, productive and achievable goals for direct reports; measure results by establishing checkpoints to track progress Must be able to travel, as necessary Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be constantly required to execute standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers) While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be occasionally required to execute non-standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch) Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds This position requires repetitive hand/wrist activities Compensation & Benefits:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.
