The Sr Quality Specialist is responsible for providing support to Supply Chain and manufacturing operations in quality assurance. This position develops, implements, maintains, and improves Quality systems, principles, and processes. The position will participate on teams to ensure quality is built into products and processes while developing, designing, installing, and starting-up new products, product improvements, and technology upgrades. A successful candidate for this role must be a motivated self-starter able to plan and lead small- and medium-sized initiatives and participate on project teams as the Quality functional expert. The Sr Quality Specialist will coordinate and influence other technical and functional resources to effectively help solve problems and mitigate risks. This role will provide training in functional expertise and requires communication (both oral and written) of technical material to non-technical resources. Primary work location is Clorox office in Alpharetta, GA. Ability to travel and work in manufacturing plants including Clorox domestic manufacturing plants, external manufacturing suppliers, and raw material suppliers is required. Provides leadership and technical knowledge for troubleshooting and problem resolution at our plants, external manufacturers, and suppliers. Ensures the effective management and communication of improvement plans and draws on internal and external experts as appropriate to meet project objectives and timelines. Provides Quality oversight of Critical to Quality (CTQ) capability for existing as well as new materials and formulations within Clorox manufacturing sites, suppliers, and external manufacturers until start-up operations are transferred to normal operations. Identifies and develops solutions to mitigate potential future risks. Engage other QA resources such as Business Quality Managers as needed to address specific technical Quality issues. Participates on project teams as the Quality function subject matter resource during development, design, installation, and start-up of new products, product improvements, and technology upgrades to ensure our plants and external manufacturers consistently deliver quality. Role to identify and help implement new ways of working. Supports continuous improvement of the Quality function by identifying and resolving gaps in quality systems, tools, and processes. Role develops implements, maintains, and improves quality systems and processes for effectiveness and efficiency. Supports delivery of Technical Services annual expense budget and performance metrics. Supports Quality function and department to drive adherence to management of change processes. Supports to ensure compliance with government regulatory and Clorox Quality processes and requirements. Ensure process rigor with all work including data accuracy in Quality databases. Ability to proactively communicate and lead through influence, interaction, and oral and written communications to different organizational levels. Ability to collaboratively work and deliver results with other Supply Chain, R&D, and EM Manufacturing resources. Workplace type: Hybrid-3 days a week in the office, 2 days working from home. What we look for

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Five years of experience in quality, supply chain, regulatory, project management, or operations leadership. Desire to have familiarity with GMP requirements and regulations. Salary ranges: Zone A: $88,700 - $165,900; Zone B: $81,300 - $152,100; Zone C: $73,900 - $138,300. All ranges subject to change.
