Position Overview
As our Program Administrator – Special Materials & Emerging Programs, this position will be responsible for supporting the HPDU Program Manager. This role involves collaborating with multiple organizations within the division and across multiple sites. This position may be remote or on-site at Lynchburg or Jonesborough with a 25% travel requirement. Location:
Jonesborough, Tennessee Your Day to Day as a Program Administrator – Special Materials & Emerging Programs
Provides support for the Program Manager Attends Program Team Meetings and leads meetings as appropriate Uses knowledge, analysis, and data trends to make financial and schedule decisions to ensure program deadlines are met Participates in proposal efforts by working with applicable organizations to compile cost basis based on input from functional units Interfaces with multiple organizations within the division and at working sites for problem identification and resolution Identifies and resolves contract implementation, contract charging, task close-out and/or estimating related issues of various scopes Tracks customer direct changes to scopes and provides input towards potential change orders Conducts meetings as part of opportunity and risk identification, status, and resolution processes Prepares progress reports, program review handouts and project review handouts for meetings Prepares presentations as needed for program needs Acts as initiator of estimate at complete, program progress statistics, and program health metrics Creates weekly status reports, maintains customer submittal lists, tracks labor hour and sub-contractor costing information Opens charge accounts and administratively manages sub-contractor agreement documentation Performs other duties as assigned Required Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in a business field plus a minimum of 6 years of experience is required Must have strong demonstrable skills and knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project Prior experience with SAP is desired Prior experience in a Contracts Services function is desired Must be able to demonstrate superior written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills Must demonstrate excellent experience in coordination Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities is required Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team Must be a US Citizen with no dual citizenship May be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance What We Offer

31.00-48.00 per hour The starting hourly rate for this position in Tennessee (US-TN) at the start of employment is expected to be between 31.00 and 48.00 per hour. The hourly rate offered is based on local job market factors and other objective business considerations. The total compensation package may also include other elements, such as a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at the time the selected candidate receives an offer. If hired, the selected candidate will be employed at-will, unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
