Team Leader

Our Team Leaders are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. A Team Leader’s two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Team Leaders lead by example and set the tone that others will follow. We have an opening for a Chick-fil-A Team Leader position. The work schedule for this position will rotate to include a combination of opening, mid-shift, and closing. Please only apply if you are available to work these hours. Team Leader Responsibilities: Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant Offer immediate and respectful response to Guest's needs Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team Be a friendly, encouraging team player Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder Count drawers and finalize day Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken Running shifts and store operations Upholding Team Members to Chick-fil-A standards such as: Uniform and Hygiene Standards, Hospitality Standards & Cleanliness Standards Serving guests by taking orders, handling cash and credit cards, making drinks and desserts by offering an immediate and respectful response to all guest's needs. Delivering meals to guests at their table or to a designated pick up area, and providing excellent customer service at all times. Maintain cleanliness of your work area and the dining room, parking lot, restrooms and play ground. Stock sauces, cups, lids, etc. as needed to maintain throughout your shift. Effectively manage and lead a team of people serving our guests while maintaining our operating standards to provide the best hospitality and guest experience. Coaching, teaching and training team members on policies and procedures and creating a positive work environment for everyone. Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards Open and/or close the restaurant leading the shift as a key holder Qualifications and Requirements: Smile Create and Maintain Eye Contact Speak Enthusiastically Make Emotional Connections with Guests Reliable transportation Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong people skills with a desire to serve Team Members Strong commitment to superior customer service Ability to manage Team Member behavioral and performance issues Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, restaurant assistant manager is not required but is preferred.
